So far, users had been expecting an AI app and a range of new features. But Odoo took it a few steps further and integrated AI into every aspect of the system. 

The opening keynote covered core Odoo apps, and in every single one of these demonstrations, AI was present - subtly but unmissably. These changes may look small at first glance, but they are set to change how users work with their ERP.

AI aside, Odoo’s founder Fabien Pinckaers revealed that version 19 will be the fastest yet. 

With the latest performance improvements, Odoo will now be available offline, and users will be able to edit and save their work even without a connection.

Odoo 19 will also enable frontend caching for an even speedier system, and read replicas for horizontal database scaling. 

These improvements make Odoo ten times faster and within reach of legacy ERPs like SAP with 10,000+ users.

Systemwide improvements

Odoo 19 puts a strong emphasis on performance, usability, and configuration options that affect every application. 

Many of the changes aim to make the system faster, more intuitive, and easier to work with, both on desktop and mobile. Some of the new features include:

• Odoo offline use: Odoo now works fully offline
• Loading time improvement: Odoo 19 data and translations are cached for instant loading, improving performance 
• UX improvements: Kanban cards support bulk actions, drag & drop across grouped lists, and indicators for inactive records
• Mobile enhancements: Buttons are simplified in form view, lists support select all, and pull-to-refresh is available in PWA
• Data & imports: Successful imports show results instantly with new templates for contacts, leads, and sales orders
• Contact management: Partner autocomplete now uses Dun & Bradstreet; addresses are checked through Google Places API
• Communication UX: All email recipients are shown; users can reply or forward directly; suggested recipients replace automatic followers
• Developer tools: A new /doc endpoint exposes all models and fields for easier API development.

CRM & Sales

Odoo 19 improves sales processes with more flexible quoting, automated data entry, and AI support in CRM. 

The goal is to make customer interactions smoother and sales teams faster.

Some of the new features include:

• Quoting: Create quotes on the fly with sections and subsections, hide prices or details, and automatically calculate shipping costs
• Online down payments: Generate payment links that confirm the order once the client pays through the portal
• CRM lead creation: Scan business cards directly to generate leads
• AI probability analysis: Probabilities are calculated for each lead, and percentages for closing chances are provided with explanations and suggestions for improvement
• AI summaries: Conversations and attachments in Chatter are summarised for quick handover, with AI also drafting replies directly
• Communication & actions: Multiple select in Kanban views for mass actions, quick scheduling of activities, and AI assistance for client replies.

eCommerce & Website

Odoo 19 introduces new website themes, improved eCommerce features, and AI-powered content tools to modernise online presence and connect businesses to more channels. 

Some of the new features include:

• Design & templates: Shop pages, catalogue blocks, and product page templates have been refreshed with mobile-friendly, modern layouts that are ready to use
• Product display: Visitors can preview attributes on hover, see variant images, and browse cleaner category lists because empty categories are hidden automatically
• SEO & AI: The website editor can now generate metatitles, descriptions, and keyword suggestions automatically and translate entire pages with one click
• Marketplace integrations: Product catalogues can be synchronised directly with TikTok Shop, Facebook, Instagram, Amazon, and Google Merchant Centre to expand reach
• Checkout & delivery: The checkout flow is clearer, orders can be confirmed with or without upfront payment, Click & Collect stock is shown, and Cash on Delivery is supported
• Email marketing: A new drag-and-drop email editor lets teams build and style mass mailings quickly without leaving the website app.

Point of Sale (POS)

Odoo 19 improves the POS system for both retail and restaurants, focusing on speed, flexibility, and better customer experience. Some of the new features include:

• Retail checkout: Quick payment buttons process payments in a single click, and minimal rights profiles let temporary staff handle only basic checkout tasks
• Restaurant presets: Dining modes like eat-in, takeaway, or delivery can be preconfigured with fiscal positions, pricelists, and preparation capacity
• Mobile menus: Odoo generates free QR codes that open digital menus with allergen information, combo options, and support for online payment
• Course management: Waiters can fire courses in sequence, ensuring kitchen teams prepare dishes at the right time
• Table & order flow: Table bookings move into a waiting list managed in a Kanban view, while walk-ins can be added instantly
• Delivery integration: The POS system now connects with most major delivery platforms, ensuring smooth order handling
• Receipts: Orders can generate receipts sent directly via WhatsApp.

Supply chain (Inventory, Purchase, MRP)

Odoo 19 refines supply chain processes with better forecasting, automated replenishment, and redesigned shop floor tools.

The focus is on visibility, accuracy, and reduced manual effort. Some of the new features include:

• AI-driven inventory forecasts: Redesigned reports show replenishment times, linked units, and delivery dates, and allow reserve/unreserve actions
• Stock control: Replenishment rules can be created with deadlines based on demand history; fragile goods can include handling instructions
• Purchase management: A new dashboard tracks RFQs, pending approvals, arrivals, and supplier performance; sales orders can generate POs directly
• Warehouse operations: Users can split pallets, move boxes between packs, and track everything automatically
• Mobile & scanning: Barcode or mobile scans create new products, update inventory with multiscan, and record serial numbers
• Shop floor UI: A redesigned shop floor interface supports multiple operators, touchscreen or barcode use, and step-by-step quality checks
• Planning tools: A Gantt view for manufacturing orders and filters for components improve production planning.

• Audit & reporting: An audit report creator compiles accounting reports, legal texts, and signatures into a downloadable PDF within minutes
• Tax management: A tax calendar lists returns and deadlines by country, with built-in validation checks; tax mapping is simplified to the tax record
• Bank reconciliation: A fully refactored AI-driven screen suggests matches, creates models, reconciles drafts, and assists non-accountants with descriptions
• Expenses & payments: Embedded Odoo credit cards (physical or virtual) link to employees, with budgets and categories; expenses reconcile automatically
• Access & invoicing: Users with invoicing only can still access accounting reports; reminders can be sent by email or WhatsApp; invoices are locked after being reviewed by an accountant.

Odoo 19 evolves its spreadsheet tool into a full BI environment, enabling advanced analytics directly inside the ERP. Some of the new features include:

• Visualisation: Radar, geo, sunburst, treemap, funnel, and combo charts expand reporting options
• Pivot tables: Rows and columns can be collapsed, models drilled across, and formulas added for new calculated measures
• Data analysis: New dimensions can be created across related records, such as linking invoices to partner states
• UX & mobile: Side panels can be pinned, the Command + K shortcut adjusts charts, and spreadsheets are fully mobile-ready.

New app - Equity

Odoo 19 introduces a new Equity app to cover the need for separate specialised tools in corporate governance.

It lets users manage shareholder structures and transactions directly in Odoo. Some of the new features include:

• Cap table: Shareholder registers can be created and kept up to date with changes
• Equity transactions: Share and option movements are tracked automatically, improving transparency
• Integration: The app links with HR and Finance to align equity management with payroll and reporting.

New app - ESG

The EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) has made changes to its regulations in 2025. Companies will have to disclose information on what they see as the risks and opportunities arising from social and environmental issues, and on the impact of their activities on people and the environment.

Ahead of this change, Odoo 19 has introduced a dedicated ESG app for companies to measure and report their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) footprint. Some of these features include:

• Automated reporting: Complex ESG reporting is handled directly in the system without external tools
• Real-time emission tracking: CO2 footprints are calculated instantly across all purchases and activities
• AI factor assignment: Emission factors are suggested and applied automatically with AI support
• One-click exports: All ESG compliance data can be exported and shared in a single step.

Compliance

Compliance has become a major focus in Odoo 19. Instead of leaving tax, audit, or regulatory requirements to external tools, Odoo now builds them directly into the core system. 

The goal of Odoo 19 is to make compliance automated, integrated, and available to every user without extra setup. New features include:

• Audit report creator: Odoo 19 compiles accounting reports, legal texts, signature fields, and annexes files from the Documents app
• Locked accounting entries: Odoo introduced locked accounting entries, which have to be reviewed by an accountant and cannot be changed by non-accountants once they are approved
• Tax calendar: Includes every tax return, deadline, and status, adapted to local rules
• Simplified tax mapping: This feature is now configured directly in the tax record

Invoicing compliance: Odoo 19 now covers compliant invoicing in 58 countries, integrates with platforms like Peppol and is free to use.
