Odoo CRM connects your sales pipeline management

Odoo 19 introduced new AI automation to the CRM app 

Odoo had already introduced some automation to CRM in previous versions, like AI-generated lead responses and follow-up emails, or basic lead forecasting.

With Odoo 19 and the latest AI app, these existing features got a revamp, and even more were added.

Predictive lead scoring

Odoo CRM uses historic lead data to score and estimate the probability of closing a specific customer.

These probabilities are calculated for each lead, and percentages for closing chances are provided with explanations and suggestions for improvement, like:

  • The source of the lead
  • Information to enrich the lead
  • Contact information like email, address, phone number, etc.


Sentiment analysis

Odoo's AI-powered sentiment analysis uses natural language processing to automatically scan the tone and emotion of customer messages within the CRM.

This helps to detect buyer intent and spot churn risks early. 

Sales teams know where to prioritise outreach more effectively, which can:

  • Cut 70% of the time spent skimming new leads manually
  • Reduce time to first touch
  • Result in a 30% higher conversion rate.

Lead follow-ups with generative AI

Odoo CRM creates AI summaries based on conversations and attachments in Chatter.

These can then be converted into handover log notes or follow-up replies. 

Sales team members can also directly prompt their integrated AI chat to generate text for emails or other communications.


Pipeline forecasting and insights

Odoo CRM automatically suggests where sales teams need to improve to convert a lead. 

AI shows which negative factors to fix (e.g., correcting an invalid phone number) to increase the probability of closing deals.

Odoo multiplies the expected revenue by the calculated probability of closing the deal, and this calculation helps to inform sales forecasts.

Combined with historical sales data, it ensures that the predicted closing pipeline is always accurate.
